Imagine you have just gotten to your friend’s house for a play date when your toddler suddenly becomes hangry. You could decide to cancel the play date and go get your hangry toddler something to eat. Or ask if you could make him something from their food because, of course they don’t mind, right?
Both of these ideas are good ways of never being asked back for a play date. I have a much better solution.
We make sure to always have Gerber Lil’ Beanies on hand for just these types of situations. They have 2 grams of protein and 1 gram of fiber per serving so you know you aren’t just filling them up with empty calories. The main ingredient is navy beans, which last I checked, are pretty healthy and good for you. Also, none of the ingredients are genetically modified and they do not contain any artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.
They come in two flavors, Original and White Cheddar and Broccoli. The Original is more of a regular cheddar cheesy flavor and no broccoli. Right now, you can earn cash back from Ibotta when you purchase either variety at your local Walmart.
Whenever little man starts to go crazy because he’s hungry and it is not meal time, I know that I can whip these bad boys out and he goes back to being…well, less crazy. I don’t think I’ll ever completely get him to not run around like a maniac, but at least it isn’t because he’s hungry and I’m a bad mommy.
Keep Gerber Lil’ Beanies within arms reach at all times and you might never have a hangry toddler again.
